ADMINISTRATIVE WARRANT VS. JUDICIAL WARRANT

Below you will find visuals on what a Judicial warrant vs an Administrative warrant looks like. ICE utilizes administrative warrants as a tactic to enter the premises. The key aspect to remember is:
  • Judicial warrants must have your name and a signature from a Magistrate Judge, as well as all of the correct information including date issued, name and address.
  • If the warrant was issued by ICE, they can not enter the premises unless they are given consent.
  • ICE has been known to enter if the door was opened, therefore it is highly suggested to NOT open the door
